I received a 17 qt presto from the company and my review is as follows,all the new design changes were first thing I seen vent in front rather than back,no more cage alignment ran to break change on lid design very nice,I water bathed qts all went very well I p canned and all went as should ,only con I can find is weight of it but that has to be to allow for the design to do qts in water bath I will get another one for my canning station,that will give me two 12 qt and two 17 qt

I bought this canner awhile back. I used it for the first time today. I canned 2 batches of fresh tuna. My brother caught the tuna deep sea fishing. Everything worked perfectly. I canned the tuna with olive and a pinch of salt. I have always used metal on metal stovetop pressure canners for the last 45 years. This digital canner is so much easier to use. I need to purchase a second digital 17 quart canner.

Every busy mom always says they can use an extra set of hands. Well with this presto canner I can set it and forget it. I fell in love with my 12 quart electric canner and kept thinking, "wish there was a bigger one." Now I run both get twice as much done and keep on schedule with daily chores. Only suggestions is can't wait till you make a double stacker 30 plus quart. That would help out with garden harvest time. Still have to pull out the cook top canners for that time of year for their stacking ability. Keep up the great work. Most Sincerely a happy Canning Mom

I had the 22 quart first and decided I needed the big guy! I ran over 300 jars through my 12 quart and I have run over 150 through the 17 quart and I cannot use a stove top canner because I have glass top stoves and their electric so I can’t keep setting heat or pressure and this is absolutely a game changer and amazing!

I just did my first jars of smoked trout (too scared to try it on my propane model)

I just got my Presto 17-Quart this week. I canned 15 quarts of dry pintos. It was so easy using the new canner. It was hassle free.
